Former Uganda Cranes forward Caesar Okhuti has taken over the head coach role of FUFA Drum title holders, West Nile Province as the tournament gets underway.
Okhuti replaces Bosco Dudu, the title-winning coach who led the side to their maiden FUFA Drum trophy in the last edition.
The CAF C licensed coach will be deputized by Villa Oromcan as the first assistant and Andrew Chaiga as the second assistant coach.
Other technical staff members include Musema Ramadan Okuni as the goalkeeping coach, Vudri Joseph, and Sonai Caroline as team physiotherapists, Letasi Hope remains as the kits’ manager Fred Munguriek and Toko Badru Tok handling the media desk, Mike Letti is the team manager.
Okhuti is an influential football figure in the West Nile region having started in the local community clubs before playing for Ediofe Hills in the top flight.
He also featured for Onduparaka and Arua Hill, two of the most prominent sides in the region currently.
In a related development, FUFA has identified three venues for West Nile Province FUFA Drum games amidst concerns over the diversity of the team.
