With Manchester City struggling on and off the pitch, the former Liverpool boss revealed he is ready to party if need be

Klopp, who now serves as Red Bull’s Global Head of Soccer, made the remarks during his official unveiling in Salzburg.
Klopp’s promises Liverpool colleagues party
Klopp hinted at a unique way to celebrate if the Premier League finds Manchester City guilty of the 115 financial charges they currently face, which could lead to City being stripped of past titles.
Speaking at the Red Bull event, Klopp said, “If it [Manchester City losing titles] would happen, I told all the people who wanted to [celebrate]: ‘Just book a flight to Mallorca. I will buy the beer!’ We’d have our own parade in my garden.”
Liverpool had come agonisingly close to Manchester City in the title races of the 2018/19 and 2021/22 seasons, finishing second with 97 and 93 points, respectively.
This means that if Manchester City’s titles from those years are annulled, it could retroactively change the landscape of Klopp’s Liverpool legacy and he is definitely ready to celebrate.
Klopp reflects on Liverpool legacy
After a seven-month sabbatical, Klopp expressed no regrets about his decision to leave Anfield last May, saying, “I’m so happy for them that they do so well.
“There is not a one per cent part of me that thinks I should be there. I wish them all the best and I watch as many games as I can. They are maybe the best-balanced team in the world right now.”
Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool was one of the best in the club’s history, leading the Reds to a Premier League title, a Champions League triumph, and multiple domestic cups.
Despite decrying the physical toll of nearly nine years at the helm when he left. Klopp expressed pride in the club’s continued success under new management.
Whether or not the garden party becomes a reality, Klopp’s legacy as a key figure in modern football remains intact.
