Neymar has been advised to move to the Premier League if he is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain.

Former Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has advised his compatriot Neymar to move to the Premier League if he is unhappy with the Ligue 1 champions.

The 30-year-old was at the Parisian club for five seasons but left for Tottenham in 2018. He is now urging the Brazilian national team captain to make a similar move if he feels the conditions at PSG are not right for him.

Neymar and PSG

Neymar has had a tumultuous year at PSG. Despite an explosive start to the season, PSG's post-World Cup form which saw them crash out of the Champions League, and a recurrent injury that put him out of commission at the business end of the season made him subject to boos by the club's fans.

He has also been reportedly put on the market by the club, who are said to be tired of his injuries and want to shed his heavy wages.

Neymar has also been linked with a move to Manchester United and is said to be keen.

What Moura said

The winger, who leaves Tottenham this summer as his contract expires, sent a message to Neymar in a conversation with L'Equipe

When asked about Neymar's possible exit from PSG, he said it depends on how happy he is at the club. But he advises that if he is not happy, he should consider a Premier League move, as it is the most exciting league in the world.

“It depends on him and what he wants, what he wants in his career. It depends on how he feels in Paris, at the club, if he’s happy with his teammates if he likes Ligue 1…but if he is thinking of leaving PSG, and if he is no longer happy there, then I’d advise him to go to play in the Premier League. It’s the highest and most exciting league.”
