Chelsea are set to unveil their new shirt for the 2023/24 season but there will be no front sponsor.
The shirt sponsorship situation at Chelsea has descended into a farce as the Blues now look set to unveil their new kit without a front sponsor.
Why Chelsea will unveil new jersey without a sponsor
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues had been closing in on a big-money deal with Paramount+ but that has clearly not gone to plan and the deal has been shelved because of the Premier League.
The PL blocked the deal with Paramount+ as they believed a collaboration between one of England's most popular clubs and a streaming service could upset rights holders.
The situation has been extra complicated by the fact that Chelsea just rejected an offer from gambling company Stake following criticism from fans and campaigners.
Chelsea are currently in talks with other sponsors, but with the new season beginning next month, they will release their new Nike kit imminently, which fans will be able to pre-order.
Chelsea open up their season with a tough home fixture against Liverpool before taking on West Ham in their first London derby.
