Following the heinous incidents where suspected Express FC fans badly beat assistant referee Fahad Sekayiba, the club has been acquitted of any wrongdoing.
In the immediate aftermath of Express' 1-1 draw with UPDF FC at Bombo Military Barracks last Friday, hooligans attacked and left Sekayiba for dead.

The fans, who allegedly were fans of the former, were disgruntled and contested the day's officiation, thus committing the hedious acts.
Express, in a statement, denied any involvement in the crime and pleaded their innocence, whilst vowing to assist the authorities in the investigations.
And, FUFA president Moses Magogo has revealed that the Red Eagles have been found innocent and that they would be charged.
"As we speak Express FC is not guilty and no sanctions have been given," Magogo confirmed on his X handle.

Through their umbrella body, the Uganda Football Referees Association (UFRA), the officials have vowed not to officiate matches involving Express, until the culprits are brought to book.
"As a federation, we will engage our member (UFRA) but one thing must be made clear, hooliganism is bad, and there shouldn't be any pretence about it."
Meanwhile, Express' game against SC Villa which was slated for earlier in the week, did not happen as the officials had laid their tools down on the former.
It is still not certain whether the referees would have lifted the ban on Express in the latter's next match, slated for November 11.
