Federation Cup: NPFL sides Bendel Insurance, Sunshine Stars enter quarterfinals, Heartland knocked out
Having both qualified for the NPFL Super 6 and the Federation Cup quarterfinals, Bendel Insurance and Sunshine Stars are all on course for a historic double.
As is custom with the competition, dreams were ended on Wednesday with three-time champions Heartland, dumped out following a slim defeat in Akwa.
While some of the qualified quarterfinalists will hope to clinch the trophy for the first time, the lot of Rangers, Bendel Insurance, Lobi Stars and Plateau United, will hope that 2023 will be the year to increase the cup titles in their trophy cabinet.
