Zambia's Copper Princesses are back at the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup for the first in 10 years and celebrated in style.
In a scene of pure elation, Zambia's Football Federation took to social media to share their Copper Princesses indulging in a well-deserved team dinner after sealing their ticket to the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
The Zambian U-17 women's national team, affectionately known as the "Copper Princesses," had overcome a formidable challenge from tournament favourites Morocco following a 3-1 aggregate victory in the qualifying rounds after a goalless draw in the second leg on Moroccan soil.

This remarkable achievement marks Zambia's return to the global stage, a decade after their last appearance at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
And of course, the team of youngsters were treated to a beautiful dinner as the Princesses that they are.
The Federation took to social media to share pictures from the dinner, captioning the photos, the federation exclaimed;
"Dining like champions! Copper Princesses celebrating their World Cup qualification with a well-deserved team dinner."
The Copper Princesses will be one of three African teams to represent the continent at the upcoming tournament, joining Kenya and Nigeria as the continent's flag-bearers.
The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Dominican Republic 2024™ will feature a diverse lineup of teams, including England, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, and Korea DPR and Korea Republic, in addition to the three African nations.
As the Copper Princesses bask in the glory of their hard-earned qualification, the team's morale and camaraderie were on full display during the lavish dinner celebration.
