Italy U20 coach Carmine Nunziata has admitted that the Flying Eagles are a quality team and they are expecting a tough game.

The Nigeria U20 team and their Italian counterpart will trade tackles in a winner qualifies into the round of 16 game that will be played at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, Mendoza.

The Flying Eagles edged the Dominican Republic by 2-1 in a come-from-behind-win in their first group game.

On the other hand, the Gli Azzurrini side nearly swept apart Brazil after going 3-0 ahead before the South American side pulled two goals back but it was too little, too late as it ended 3-2.

Going into the match that could decide the first team to get a round of 16 ticket, Italy’s coach Carmine Nunziata has admitted that his side are set to face a difficult Nigerian team.

Nunziata told Italy’s official football website of what is to come:

“A strong team, difficult to face because they have extremely physical players, endowed with great speed. It won’t be easy, an important match to continue our journey in this World Cup.”

On the other hand, Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso, whose team is gradually getting into shape also passed a message to fans back home to expect a good game against the talented Italian side.

Bosso was quoted by Brila:

“Nigerians should expect a really good game and a better side compared to what they saw in the last game.

“So, we are here to do our best, score goals and make the country proud.”
