The Saudi Pro eague has reportedly targeted a host of superstars to join Cristiano Ronaldo and potentially Karim Benzema as the league looks to increase its visibility around the world.
The Saudi Pro League, home to Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly looking to continue its expansion by attracting some of the biggest names in world football to join the Portuguese superstar in the Middle East this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo to welcome more stars to Saudi Arabia
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, at least 7 players have been targeted in what is expected to be a multi-billion Euro revolution.
Chelsea's N'Golo Kante and Real Madrid's departing striker Karim Benzema are two other names that have been mentioned.
Benzema is expected to complete a lucrative move to Al-Ittihad while World Cup winner Lionel Messi remains the nation's top priority.
According to the report, with the oil-rich nation looking to host the World Cup, there is a desire to boost the profile of the country and while the deals to bring in these players will be highly lucrative, they can also expect to play in a highly competitive league.
