Finidi set for NPFL return
According to reports from the Nation, Finidi is being considered by Rivers United, an NPFL team, to be their head coach.
Rivers United had a strong start to the season, making it to the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals when USM Alger of Algeria eliminated them.
Following a lacklustre conclusion to the season, the club's management is preparing to make changes.
For the first time in three years, they were unable to earn a continental ticket due to their poor performance in the league, finishing outside of the top spots.
Finidi might be a great addition to Rivers United given his impressive time at Enyimba, where he won the league title in just his first full season of play.
However, it is yet to be known if the club have approached Finidi for the managerial position ahead of the new season.
