Following the disappointing loss to Benin Republic, Finidi met with heads of the NFF and the sports minister of Nigeria as he clarified his future.

The meeting has set tongues wagging among Nigerian fans who have questioned Finidi’s future prospects after he appeared solemn following a reported three hour meeting with his bosses.

While some have asked for the manager to remain at the helm, others have called for Finidi to be relieved of his duty immediately after the disappointing World Cup qualifier matches.
