K'Ogalo emerged champions after a neck-to-neck race against Robert Matano's Tusker.
Former Gor Mahia national treasurer Sally Bolo has taunted Tusker FC by saying people would have forgotten they were champions by now had they won the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title.
Gor Mahia were resilient in this season's title race and managed to win on the final day against Nairobi City Stars, who threatened to win their second straight league crown.
Bolo said a celebratory mood still rules the air just because it is K'Ogalo who won the league, but had it gone to their rivals, perhaps the celebration would have been shortlived.

The two clubs were among those linked with the attacker, who is set to be a hot cake in the transfer window.
"Imagine if Tusker FC had won the league; probably people would have forgotten that they are champions. Their five fans, players, technical bench, and management team cannot maintain the momentum of the celebration. We are indeed the husbands of teams," Bolo tweeted.
With the league win, Gor Mahia will return to continental football, and Bolo is hopeful of a better campaign. To illustrate the capability of the local giants to challenge at the continental level, Bolo recalled how Egyptian giants Zamalek SC were thrashed in 2019 at Kasarani during a Group Stage match.
"As the club official who was in charge of this match, I was over the moon and went to bed happy as a football administrator," she added. "Beating Zamalek of Egypt at Kasarani with four goals to two during CAF Confederation Cup group stage matche was not only beautiful and brilliant but also an achievement on the pitch.
"Thrashing North African teams was not and is not easy. The kind of football infrastructure, quality players, good tacticians, etc. cannot be compared to East, Central, and West African countries."
