Defending champions Kakamega Homeboyz have been upset by KCB FC in the FKF Cup quarterfinal played on Saturday.
KCB FC secured a surprising 1-0 victory over defending champions Kakamega Homeboyz in the FKF Cup quarterfinal at Dandora Stadium on Saturday afternoon
The Abana Abeingo, unbeaten in nine matches, were strongly tipped to win, but the Bankers put up a sound defensive performance and offered a potent threat from set pieces and on the counter attack to earn themselves a place in the final four of the FKF Cup.
In the early exchanges, Homeboyz were the better team with the Bankers' keeper Shikalo being forced to punch Oliver Machaka's headed effort for a corner kick.
