The FKF Electoral Board has released dates for the highly awaited polls which will culminate in the presidential vote in early December.
The FKF Electoral Board has set December 7 as the date when national polls will be conducted in what will be a culmination of a process that has taken months of back and forth.
The board released a roadmap for the elections on Thursday with clear timelines for various steps before the highly-anticipated exercise on December 7.
The roadmap includes publication of eligible clubs and delegates and submission of nomination forms with the National Executive Committee and presidential hopefuls scheduled to submit their nominations on October 14 when all those interested in the various seats will be known.

FKF presidential hopeful Hussein Mohammed has raised concerns about voter register manipulation and the independence of the newly constituted FKF Electoral Board.
Another crucial step will be the county elections on November 9, after which any disputes arising will be heard and determined, before the publication of the national elections delegates on November 23.
That will set the stage for the national elections on December 7 with the spotlight on the presidential seat that has already attracted Extreme Sports CEO Hussein Mohammed, former footballers Sammy ‘Kempes’ Owino as well as McDonald Mariga, Gor Mahia Secretary General Sam Ocholla, former FKF boss Sam Nyamweya among others.
The Electoral Board also released the Electoral Code which will be one of the things to look out for as it is likely to lock out some hopefuls.

OFFICIAL: FKF sets specific timeline for next Presidential elections as they officially unveil electoral board
FKF has officially unveiled the electoral board formed adopted during their special general meeting that will conduct the presidential elections slated for December.
As per the Code, those seeking the presidential seat will need to have at least five endorsements from any of the FKF members, must have played an active role in football either as a player, member or an official of FKF in two of the last five years and must satisfy the requirements for leadership and integrity as per Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution.
