Saturday's FKF Cup action was filled with drama, featuring intense clashes, last-minute victories, and unexpected eliminations.

It was a dramatic Saturday in the FKF Cup, with thrilling encounters, late winners, and shocking exits.

Kenya Police FC, the reigning FKF Cup champions, edged past Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) with a narrow 1-0 victory at Jomo Kenyatta Mamboleo Stadium in Kisumu.

The win was a much-needed boost for Etienne Ndayiragije’s side, who had been struggling in the league following a recent loss and draw that ended their impressive 13-match unbeaten run.

Their title defense remains intact as they now advance to the Round of 16.

AFC Leopards’ highly anticipated clash against Mara Sugar FC in Kisumu ended in controversy and chaos.

The match was abandoned after fans invaded the pitch, following a dramatic penalty decision. Initially awarded to Leopards, the penalty was later overturned, sparking unrest among fans.

With tensions boiling over, match officials had no choice but to call off the game still.

Elsewhere, Tusker FC suffered a shocking exit at the hands of Nairobi United.

The match ended 1-1 in regulation time, with Michael Karamor netting a crucial goal for United to keep their cup dreams alive.

The drama continued in the penalty shootout, where Nairobi United emerged 5-4 winners, sending Tusker packing.

This defeat adds to Charles Okere’s struggles, with Tusker now failing to win in four of their last five matches in all competitions.
