The Flying Eagles are now in Abidjan to face the Elephants of Ivory Coast in 2 friendly games.

Ahead of two friendly games against the Young Elephants of Côte d'Ivoire, the Flying Eagles, Nigeria's U20 boys' delegation arrived in Abidjan on Tuesday morning.

Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, a member of the NFF Executive, led the contingent to Ivory Coast.

Team captain Daniel Bameyi, first-choice goalkeeper Ifeanyi Harcourt, defender Haruna Aliyu, midfielder Cletus Simon, and forwards Clinton Japhet and Olalekan Sulaiman Alabi are among the 21 players chosen by coach Aliyu Zubairu for the assignment.

The Ivorian capital's Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny will host the seven-time African champions on Wednesday commencing at 4.30 p.m.

The two teams will play each other again on Friday at the same location and at the same time.
