FOOTBALL FIFA suspends Spanish FA president for kissing World Cup winner on the lips
FIFA moved to suspend Rubiales, who refused to apologize for kissing Jenni Hermoso on the lips.
Many have spoken in condemnation of the football administrator, calling for him to resign, but he has also found support from two of football’s biggest names.
First was current PSG and former Spain Men’s national team coach Luis Enrique, who was given the latter role by Rubiales and commended the suspended president’s work saying, “If I’m basing it off of my own experience – because he’s been at the FA for many years – The work he has done over the years has been exceptional, taking the federation to new heights, beyond the results on the pitch.
"The numbers speak for themselves. I would say he’s done a fantastic job.”
He also noted that Rubiales has already apologised for the incident, saying, “In terms of the episode that took place in the last game, I think the president himself has acknowledged his mistakes.”

Rubiales also found support from Bayern Munich legend Karl Heinz Rummenigge, who told BILD that he believed Rubiales had done nothing wrong.

11 coaches in Spain Women's team resign but Rubiales refuses to quit
The "unacceptable attitude" of Luis Rubiales, who swore to prove his innocence after his provisional suspension as president of the Spanish FA, has led to the resignation of nearly the entire coaching staff for Spain's women's squad.
He said, "When you become world champion, you are emotional. And what he did there is - sorry, with all due respect - absolutely okay. I can remember: When we won the Champions League last time, I kissed men - not on the mouth, but out of joy.”
He also expressed belief that the incident had been blown out of proportion by people who want to take emotions out of football, saying, "Emotionality is important in football, you should leave the church in the village."
Despite support from the two heavyweights, Rubiales has still been suspended by FIFA and could face further sanctions with RFEF set for a second emergency meeting on Monday.
