AC Milan legend and former Ballon d'Or winner Andriy Shevchenko has settled the never-ending GOAT debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
When it comes to legendary footballers, very few come close to the standard, legacy, and talent of Ukrainian legend Andriy Shevchenko.
The former Milan goal machine tore up defences in Italy, and across Europe, leading his side to Champions League glory in 2003 and earning himself a well-deserved Ballon d'Or the following year.
Shevchenko was finally drawn into the endless debate surrounding Messi and Ronaldo.
He gave his thoughts on who the greatest of all time was and did not hesitate when asked.

The debate is certainly far from over and there will be many who pick Ronaldo, regardless of Messi's superior achievements, but for Shevchenko, Messi is number one.
