Frank Ouna, who worked as assistant coach at Gor Mahia, believes the talented attacker has all the attributes to succeed at the 20-time Kenyan champions

Former Gor Mahia assistant coach Frank Ouna has urged K'Ogalo to sign Tyson Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks. 

Ouna spoke highly of Otieno's abilities and suggested that the talented midfielder deserves to play on the big stage, specifically mentioning the CAF Champions League.

Ouna, who has previously worked with Otieno during his tenure as Mathare United coach, emphasised the player's excellent ball control and maturity on the field. 

He also praised Otieno's commitment to the team, highlighting a time when the midfielder came to his rescue during their time together at Mathare United.

"If I was the coach of Gor Mahia FC, I would sign Tyson Otieno at 6am," Ouna stated via a Facebook post. "I have worked with him. He is excellent on the ball, mature, and can fight for the team. He saved my a*s at Mathare United. Let those who have ears hear and eyes see. Oh, why Gor, he deserves to play on the big stage: Champions League."

Otieno, who currently plies his trade with Kariobangi Sharks, has been a standout performer in the Kenyan Premier League. 

His technical skills, combined with his tactical awareness, have made him a valuable asset for his current club.

Gor Mahia, known for their rich footballing history and passionate fanbase, are keen to make an impact on the African stage once again.

With their sights set on the CAF Champions League, the club's management will carefully consider Ouna's recommendation of signing Otieno. .
