Kigozi, who found playing time hard to come by at KCCA, was unveiled by the Purple Sharks as their new player Thursday evening.
Former KCCA midfielder Samson Kigozi has completed a move to Wakiso Giants, with the two sides set to meet on Friday in the FUFA Super 8 Tournament.
Kigozi, who found playing time hard to come by at KCCA, was unveiled by the Purple Sharks as their new player Thursday evening.
“Welcome to the Purple Sharks Family Andrew Samson Kigozi,” the club announced on their official social media handles.
Kigozi joins the club after a short spell at Maroons and will be hoping to make Wakiso a place he calls home.
Having joined KCCA from Police FC in 2020, the winger, who can also operate through the middle in the final third, struggled to nail a starting place under Morley Byekwaso and found himself on the fringes before a move to Maroons.
He now joins players like Blancha Mulamba and Muhammad Ssenoga, who the club has also unveiled in this transfer window.
