One of Kylian Mbappe's former teammates has warned Real Madrid's stars what they are in for
Kylian Mbappe’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain this summer marked the end of a turbulent era for the Frenchman, particularly in his relationship with former teammate Neymar.
Though the two combined for 54 goals during their time together at PSG, new drama has emerged involving their former partnership.
Neymar’s warning to Real Madrid’s Brazilians
According to journalist Cyril Hanouna, Neymar reportedly reached out to Real Madrid’s Brazilian contingent, including Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Eder Militao; warning them about the difficulties of playing with Mbappe.
According to Hanouna, Neymar described his experience with Mbappe at PSG as “catastrophic” and claimed it was “hell” to play alongside the French superstar.
It remains to be seen whether Neymar’s compatriots will heed his warning or find out that their countryman was wrong about the France national team captain.
Mbappe’s strong start at Real Madrid despite tensions
Despite Neymar’s warning, Mbappe has already made a bright start to life at Real Madrid.
He delivered a man-of-the-match performance in a 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad and has netted four goals in six appearances for Los Blancos, including three in La Liga.
Although questions linger about how Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. will coexist on the pitch, Mbappe’s strong start indicates that, for now, he is adapting well to his new surroundings.
