AFCON 2013 winner with Super Eagles Brown Ideye has now scored in back-to-back matches for new side Enyimba.

After scoring the decisive goal in Enyimba's 2-1 victory over Nasarawa United, former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has expressed his excitement and satisfaction with the team's performance. 

The 36-year-old forward, who has quickly made an impact since joining the club, netted his second goal in three matches, helping to lift Enyimba out of a challenging winless streak.

The match, which took place on Wednesday, saw Ideye come off the bench to score the winner just two minutes after Nasarawa had equalised. 

Initially, Joseph Atule had put Enyimba ahead in first-half stoppage time, but Anas Yusuf equalised for the visitors shortly after halftime.

With the game hanging in the balance, Ideye's timely intervention restored Enyimba's lead, sparking celebrations among fans at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

Following the match, Ideye took to social media to share his joy. He posted a simple yet powerful message:

“BIG WIN!” accompanied by a flexed bicep emoji and hearts in Enyimba’s colours. 

Ideye's journey with Enyimba began with a strong CAFCC debut performance where he scored in a 4-1 victory against Black Bulls Maputo, ending the team’s 11-match winless streak.

His contributions have been key in revitalising Enyimba's campaign in all competitions, with the Elephants now sitting in seventh place with 27 points in the NPFL.
