The striker has been an intense subject of transfer speculation as the German giants are interested in him.
Upon signing Odong, BUL head coach Abbey Kikomeko Bogere expressed his excitement about the addition of the experienced player.

"He is still young, and I know he can still progress and get us good results. With the depth and quality of players we have in our midfield, I expect a lot of creativity, fluidity, and good goals."
