Mutebi and Mayanja were sacked at the Rwandan club just after four months into their respective roles.

Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Okwi had a one year stint at Kiyovu between 2021 and 2022. The striker declined a new contract and left the club after the expiry of his one year contract.

Muzamiru Mutyaba left Express in 2021 and joined Kiyovu but he has since left the club for Gor Mahia in Kenya.

Erisa Ssekisambu was also at Kiyovu recently but he was released by the club despite being their top scorer with 10 goals.

Koukouras had a stint with the South Sudan assistant coach in 2019 while he also managed at Pacific Heroes FC in Ghana.
