The Super Falcons of Nigeria suffered a 1-2 loss to the Les Bleues of France in an international friendly played on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

The France women's team has been dominant against the Nigerians in recent years and continued their unbeaten streak with a narrow victory.

It was history for the Super Falcons as they finally scored against France for the first time after several meetings.

In the second half, Head Coach Justine Madagu brought on Rinsola Babajide in search of an equalizer.

France were however able to hold on to record a win at the Stade Raymond Kopa in the city of Angers.
