Baraza has not shut the door on the possibility of joining Leopards , although he says he is focusing on his job in charge of Police.

Kenya Police FC head coach Francis Baraza has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the club's project, despite growing speculation linking him to the vacant head coach position at AFC Leopards.

While Baraza remains open to the possibility of joining the prestigious club, he emphasizes that any potential move must go through the proper channels and respect his current employers.

Following Belgian coach Patrick Aussems' decision to part ways with AFC Leopards after a tumultuous two and a half years, the search for a new head coach has commenced.

Sources close to Pulse Sports Kenya who spoke on condition of anonymity said Baraza is a coach high on their radar as Aussems’ replacement.

The tactician has not closed the door on the possibility of joining the club, although he says he is focusing on his job in charge of Police.

“Police are my bosses. I am a Police employee. If they want me, they need to pass through my bosses. As of now, I remain part of the Police set up and I am fully committed to the course,” Baraza told Pulse Sports Kenya.

Baraza, a league winning manager with Sony Sugar in 2006, helped Police achieve a historic third place position, having joined the club shortly after leaving Tanzania’s Biashara United.

Under his tutelage, the club finished the season as the most prolific side, scoring 57 goals  and with the joint - best defensive record in the league alongside Gor Mahia, conceding just 22 goals.

The side finished third on 64 points,  just six behind champions Gor Mahia.  Baraza has previously coached Western Stima, Sony Sugar, Muhoroni Youth, Chemelil Sugar FC, and Biashara United.
