Having drawn four and lost one of their opening five fixtures, Ambani is worried his charges are yet to win a single league game ahead of a crunch game against Gor Mahia next weekend.
AFC Leopards assistant coach Fred Ambani is worried about his side’s winless run after they were held to another draw by Shabana in a crunch FKFPL fixture played at a-filled-to-the-brim Ulinzi Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Ingwe went ahead through Brian Yakhama’s penalty, but could not hold on to their lead as Shabana fought back through a Peter Ogechi bullet header into the back of the net from a corner kick, which left both sides sharing the spoils by full time.

FKFPKL Tactical Analysis: Why are AFC Leopards struggling to score goals from open play?
Leopards failed to find the back of the net in their opening three fixtures until the 2-2 draw against Kenya Police.
Speaking after the match, Ambani, who was stepping in for Tom Juma who was away, said that he was frustrated that his charges had worked hard on defending set-piece situations having known that Shabana are dangerous from such situations in vain.
“There are some things we had planned to execute for this match but they did not work,” Ambani said. “If you look, Shabana is very good at set-piece situations,” he added.

FKFPL Did AFC Leopards fan frenzy outshine Shabana's cheer spectacle despite draw?
Fans turned Lang'ata into a laughter-filled carnival as AFC Leopards and Shabana clashed, proving cheering can draw level with goals.
“We worked on ways to avoid falling victim to that, and it did not work. As a coach, it is not good at all because we worked very hard to abate the problem in vain.
“It is a learning process for our players and the entire team.”

STARS ABROAD Mugisha Rogers revels in Man of the Match performance with Gor Mahia
The former U-20 Uganda Hippos and UPDF FC midfielder marked his score sheet for Jonathan McKinstry's squad during a 1-1 league draw against KCB Bank FC on Sunday, netting a late equalizer to secure a point for K’Ogalo.
Meanwhile, the former Wazito coach is at least delighted that the side managed to score a goal for the second match in a row.
He however is worried about the fact the side is yet to win a single game so far this season, having drawn against FC Talanta, Kenya Police, Muhoroni Youth, and Shabana and lost to KCB.
“I think at least we have scored in two consecutive games which is a plus for the team, but we need to win because points are drifting away from us and teams are peddling away.”
Leopards will face a stern test when they face Gor Mahia in their next league game this weekend in a match that will see Azam TV make their full-time broadcasting debut in the country, having already aired the match between both teams last year.
