The Brazilian is among the players who have been linked with moves out of Old Trafford.

Amid exit speculations, Manchester United midfielder Fred has changed agents.

Rumours have it that he has chosen the same group as Gabriel Jesus as reports of his departure this summer intensify. The Brazilian has worked under three managers at Old Trafford: Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and now Erik ten Hag.

He was mostly used alongside Scott McTominay as a double pivot, but the duo has been linked with moves this summer as Ten Hag is looking for an upgrade.

The signings of both Christian Eriksen and Casemiro in the last transfer window added more midfield competition, leading to limited minutes for both Fred and McTominay.

United have already completed the signing of Mason Mount, adding more players in the midfield, and that means if more space is to be created, some will have to be offloaded. Since he is already 30, Fred might see reduced minutes, and if he plays, he will do so on a rotational basis.

Fulham remain keen to sign the Brazilian, whose contract at United will end in 2024, and the club might decide to cash in on him rather than let him leave as a free agent next summer.

And the rumoured change of agents could be an indication that Fred has already decided to leave and find a new challenge. His new representatives, Energy Sports, are the same as his fellow Brazilian Jesus and deal with Brazilian players only.
