Winners emerge at HRA Youth Cup

The HRA Youth Cup Finals was held at the Femi Gbajabiamila Stadium in Abalti Barracks to complete seven weeks of intense competition among the youths in Lagos.

Balogun stated that he will be eternally grateful to God and his loyal players who have stuck by him during the club's difficult times.

The club's founder described how the club came to be and the growth and development it has attained within the Lagos State football community.

"I'm eternally grateful to God and my loyal players for standing by me when this club was established 12 years ago in Mushin. The club grew from a group of young players at age ten to now established superstars," Balogun said.

"The club transgressed from Mushin to become a household name in Nigeria. During this process, the club faced a lot of difficult times but we stayed focused and determined to scale through.

"We were able to win trophies together in Lagos and across the South West of Nigeria with a compact squad and part of the reward is we now having about nine of our players plying their trade in US. This is however a great feat for us as a club that started in Nigeria."
