As of January 9, 2025, here’s a look at the Top 10 Attacking Players from Africa, based on that ranking, showing their impressive performances this season.

1. Mohamed Salah (Egypt, Liverpool)

Leading the list is Mohamed Salah, who has achieved a remarkable score of 24.85 points to finish as the top-ranked player in the world.

This season, Salah has netted 21 goals and provided 17 assists in 28 matches, demonstrating his dual threat as both a prolific scorer and a creative playmaker. 

His ability to break down defences has made him an invaluable asset for Liverpool and a record-breaking forward in the Premier League.

2. Bryan Mbeumo (Cameroon, Brentford)

Bryan Mbeumo is making waves in the Premier League with a score of 20.08 points that placed him third on the top 100 list and second in Africa. 

He has scored 13 goals and provided four assists, proving to be a crucial part of Brentford's attacking lineup.

3. Omar Marmoush (Egypt, Eintracht Frankfurt)

With a score of 20.08 points, Omar Marmoush has established himself as a key player in the Bundesliga. 

He has recorded 18 goals and 11 assists in 24 matches, showcasing his ability to influence games significantly.

4. Ademola Lookman (Nigeria, Atalanta)

Africa's Player of the Year Ademola Lookman ranks 16th in the world and fourth in Africa with a credible score of 14.78 points.

The Nigerian forward has been instrumental for Atalanta, contributing 12 goals and six assists this season.

 Lookman's explosive pace and creativity have solidified his position as one of Serie A's top talents.

5. Alex Iwobi (Nigeria, Fulham)

Following his compatriot is Alex Iwobi, who ranks sixth with a score of 12.44 points, having contributed five goals and three assists for Fulham this season.

6. Yoane Wissa (DR Congo, Brentford)

7. Nicolas Jackson (Senegal, Chelsea)

Ranking 49th with a score of 10.70 points, Nicola Jackson is showing promise in the Premier League with his energetic performances and increasing goal-scoring ability.

The Senegalese, despite strong criticisms led by Chelsea and Nigerian legend John Mikel Obi, has delivered good numbers for the Blues. 

Jackson, 23, has scored nine goals and three assists in 20 appearances for Enzo Maresca’s high-flying Chelsea.

8. Antonio Semenyo (Ghana, Bournemouth)

Antonio Semenyo comes in at 59th with a score of 10.18 points this season, making strides as an important player for Bournemouth as they navigate through competitive matches.

With five goals, including against giants Manchester United at Old Trafford, and two assists, the 25-year-old has become one of the African stars to keep watchful eyes on this season.

9. Eliesse Ben Seghir (Morocco, Monaco)

The Moroccan makes the list as the youngest after a brilliant campaign for former Ligue 1 winners AS Monaco.

10. Hamed Traore (Ivory Coast, Auxerre)
