Following Manchester United's FA Cup fifth-round loss to Fulham, Gary Lineker has blamed Sir Alex Ferguson for the condition of the team.
The Red Devils lost to Fulham on Sunday via a penalty shootout and crashed out of the FA Cup competition.
The last season winners saw one of their two chances to play in Europe next season slam shut at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils continue to struggle, now sitting in 14th place in the Premier League. They have been unable to find any consistency under Ruben Amorim, and this latest setback only adds to their disappointing season.

Lineker slams Ferguson
Lineker compared Ferguson's departure from Manchester United, when the team's decline was unavoidable, to the abundant legacy Jurgen Klopp bequeathed to Arne Slot at Liverpool.
)
He said during the BBC's coverage of the United defeat, “If you look at Liverpool now, they’ve got a new manager in Arne Slot, and it’s testament to how Jurgen Klopp left the club in a really good state. So the structure is really good.
“That probably wasn’t the case at the end of Sir Alex Ferguson’s [time at Old Trafford]. I know they won the league that season, but it wasn’t their best side, and a lot of their great players were coming to the end of their careers.
)
“I think from there they had problems. The academy wasn’t delivering the players that they were before.”
The club has had seven full-time managers since Ferguson's remarkable 2013 tenure, with the Portuguese manager, appointed in November, being the latest.
Since the Scots' departure, United have been unable to compete for the title or advance to the final rounds of the Champions League, and they have yet to claim any major trophies.
