The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has revealed that the 2024 FUFA Junior League will be a new look with a different format from last season's.

The 16 teams will be divided into two groups, and they'll named Treble and Hat-trick.

It has also been disclosed that the FUFA Juniors League will be a preserve of players under the age of 17. Thus, only players born after January 1, 2007, will be considered.

Waiswa has played just five times in the Uganda Premier League this season, and he felt he deserved to feature more often.
The competition shall be played on a league basis over three rounds on a home and away basis, with the third round host determined by the aggregate results from the two rounds.
Each club shall be allowed to register a maximum of 25 players. Ten of those should be born by January 1, 2007 at the latest, while the other 15 slots will be given to players born in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
