Portugal-based defender completes the Harambee Stars' training camp in Turkey, marking a full house ahead of the Russia friendly.

Portugal-based Johnstone Omurwa, the 23 player and final player to arrive at Harambee Stars camp in Turkey, made a belated appearance on Friday.

As the dust settled and the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, the Harambee Stars' training camp was buzzing with excitement.

With preparations now in full swing for the highly anticipated international friendly match against Russia on Monday, October 16, 2023, in the scenic city of Antalya, Turkey, the stage is set for an electrifying showdown.

Harambee Stars are leaving no stone unturned as they gear up for this crucial friendly, which marks their last test match before they embark on the treacherous journey of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers set to kick off in November later this year.

Midfield maestro Antony Akumu, a vital cog in the Harambee Stars' lineup, echoed the sentiments of the entire team as he called for unwavering support from the passionate fans.

"Fans should continue to support us because this is their team," Akumu asserted with determination. "On the field, we will work hard to achieve positive results," he added, a glimmer of confidence in his eyes.
