The Law Enforcers will now focus on the league title following their early FKF Cup elimination.
Kenya Police FC coach Francis Baraza has admitted his players must take responsibility for the team's elimination from the FKF Cup.
The Law Enforcers crashed out of the competition at the Round of 16 following their 2-1 shocking defeat at Police Sacco Stadium in Nairobi after a stoppage time goal from Alex Masinde saw the visitors advance to the quarterfinal.
Baraza pulled no punches when delivering his thoughts on his side's performances in the match against their arch-rivals Ulinzi Stars.
"I have to say that we did not deserve to win the game because the players did not play according to my instructions.
If you look at their movements and coordination of the players within themselves, you can see that they did not play their usual way. So I have to be frank and say the boys are to be blamed for our cup exit," said Baraza in a post-match interview.
Eyebrows were raised when Baraza deployed Job Ochieng between the goalposts instead of more experienced custodian Patrick Matasi.
Now Kenya Police will turn focus to Football Kenya Federation Premier League, where they sit sixth on the table.
"We will try and rectify mistakes so that we can be better in their upcoming league games since we are now out of FKF Cup competition," added Baraza.

Kenya Police are scheduled to travel to Muhoroni on Wednesday, where they will be facing league strugglers Wazito FC.
Ulinzi Stars, on their side, progressed to the quarterfinals, where they will face Sofapaka.
