The Mountain Queens finished second in 2022/2023 Kenya Women’s Premier League season
Gaspo Women FC goalkeeping coach James Ombeng has revealed that the side has a promising plan ahead of the off-season transfer window.
The Mountain Queens struggled in the last three matches of the recently concluded season, finishing in the second position behind champions Vihiga Queens.

In an interview, Ombeng stressed to fans that they intend to make wholesale changes to the club and have taken into account their concern for inadequate performances.
"We are going to do recruitment in all positions because we need a solid side to fight for the trophy next season," he said.
