Antony was given a rare start by manager Ruben Amorim in the League Cup quarter-final at Tottenham.

However, the Brazilian winger failed to make an impact and was substituted with Spurs leading 3-0.
While United mounted a late comeback, the game ultimately ended 4-3 in Tottenham's favour.
What Deeney said
Deeney, speaking on CBS Sports, didn't hold back in his assessment of Antony's performance.
"As soon as Manchester United took Antony off, everybody else started running," Deeney observed.
He went on to deliver a harsh verdict on the player's future at the club.
