LALIGA side Getafe are ignoring everyone to push on with their plans for Manchester United's outcast Mason Greenwood.

It’s all coming together for Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood at his new club in LALIGA,  Getafe.

Getafe has revealed the number Greenwood will sport during his time at the club for the season.

The 21-year-old  left United for Spain as he looks to rebuild his halted career with Getafe offering him a lifeline.

Greenwood saw his burgeoning career take a nosedive after accusations bordering on rape and domestic abuse.

The United forward was arrested and detained following accusations from his girlfriend.

But he was discharged earlier this year after the Police handling the case discharged him after charges were dropped.

United also investigated the case internally for six months before reaching a conclusion that the youngster was not guilty of what he was accused of.

However, despite their internal verdict, United decided Greenwood wouldn’t play for the club again, with Spanish side Getafe coming to his rescue.

Greenwood has since sealed a season-long loan move that will see him help  Getafe try to preserve their top-flight status until the summer of 2024.

Getafe has now revealed that the 21-year-old will wear number 12 for the club in the 2023/2024 campaign despite intense calls from a domestic abuse foundation in Spain to the club to return Greenwood to United as Pulse Sports reported.

The club revealed this through their social media accounts on Monday afternoon.
