Massively respected Ugandan female referee Shamirah Nabadda was selected among the match officials to oversee football matches at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Nabadda is among the 89 match officials selected by FIFA including 21 referees, 42 assistant referees, 20 video officials and six support referees.
Upon making the feat, she automatically becomes the first female Ugandan referee to officiate in the history of the Olympics Games.
