Simba Queens Kenyan sharpshooter Jentrix Shikangwa looks set to win Tanzania Women’s Premier League Golden Boot after she netted a brace in the 4-0 thumping of Mkwawa Queens on Tuesday.
Shikangwa is currently leading the scoring charts with 13 goals and is four ahead of JKT Queens striker Donisa Minja.
Both sides played entertaining, attacking football and created good scoring opportunities at the start of the match before Simba Queens took control.
Mkwawa almost broke the deadlock 12 minutes into the game when Rose Mpoma was denied by the woodwork.
Seven minutes later, Shikangwa started to rise as she found the back of the net and scored her twelfth league goal for the season.
