The club have unveiled the former Nzoia Sugar coach as part of Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo's coaching staff for next season, with more changes also made to the technical department.

Shabana FC has bolstered their coaching staff by appointing Godfrey ‘Solo’ Oduor as an assistant coach, enhancing the expertise on Sammy Omollo Pamzo’s technical bench.

This strategic move comes after the club decided to permanently appoint Pamzo as the head coach for the upcoming season, following his successful effort in securing their top-flight status last season.

Despite earlier speculation about a possible new head coach, Shabana has shown confidence in Pamzo's leadership.

Oduor steps into the role previously held by George Owoko, who has departed after a six-month stint.

Oduor’s return to coaching marks his first role since a tumultuous period with Nzoia Sugar, where he was dismissed due to a string of poor results and a subsequent stand-off with the Football Kenya Federation over unpaid wages back in January.

In addition to Oduor’s appointment, there have been other significant changes in the coaching lineup. Fitness and conditioning coach Oscar Kambona has exited, making way for Timothy Ondeko.

Ondeko, a former Bunyore Starlets coach, previously served on the Kakamega Homeboyz FC technical bench, bringing valuable experience to his new role.

Former Kakamega Homeboyz keeper and goalkeepers’ coach David Juma will now handle the keepers at Shabana, while Elijah Sani will continue his duties as the club team manager.

In the youth team setup, former assistant coach Kevin Momanyi has been appointed as the youth team coach, with Kefa Mogire serving as his deputy. The team's physiotherapist, Emmanuel Wanyama, and kit manager, Tyrus Onchieku, will maintain their roles.

Shabana has also been active in the transfer market, securing the services of Cliff Nyakeya and Maxwell Mulili from AFC Leopards.
