K'Ogalo will look to build momentum in the FKF Premier League when they host Wazito.
Gor Mahia will be aiming to keep the heat on current Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) leaders Nzoia Sugar with a victory over Wazito on Tuesday.
K'Ogalo extended their unbeaten run to eight matches when they beat local rivals Tusker FC 2-1 at home last Wednesday.
Gor Mahia are second on the log with 30 points from 13 matches and have seen the gap between themselves and the Sugar Millers reduce to just one point.
Nzoia Sugar kept themselves in the title hunt when they defeated Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 away from home on February 8.
The Bungoma-based side gave the chasing pack the hope of reeling them in when they were held to a goalless draw by AFC Leopards on February 5.
Jonathan McKinstry, the Gor Mahia coach, hopes to mastermind a victory over Wazito, who have registered only one away win this season.
"Preparations complete. We move together tomorrow in another hugely important FKF Premier League match against Wazito.
We welcome all Gor Mahia fans to join us at Kasarani Stadium for a 3 pm kick-off as we go in search of another three points," McKinstry tweeted.
Gor Mahia will be expecting their goal poacher Benson Omalla to be on his day to snatch a positive result that could help their cause.
Meanwhile, Wazito took a major step towards survival when they held Posta Rangers to a 1-1 draw away thanks to Collins Neto's equalizer in the second stanza.
The Muhoroni-based side will climb to 14th place with a victory against Gor Mahia before Wednesday's matches.
Dependable forward Felix Ochieng is in top form and could carry Wazito, and he will be out to be counted with Neto in the hunt for a home victory.
In head-to-head stats, Gor Mahia and Wazito have met in seven league matches since 2018. K'Ogalo has claimed six wins while one game has been drawn. The record Premier League champions have recorded three wins in their four home matches in the rivalry.
The last time the two teams met was at the Narok Stadium on April 2, Gor Mahia claimed a 2-1 away win thanks to goals from George Odhiambo and Parmenas Ochola while Wazito found the back of the net courtesy of James Kinyanjui. Gor Mahia has won two straight league games against Wazito.
