Gor Mahia coach Johnathan McKinstry has shrugged off concerns that his side are scoring few goals after yet another 1-0 win, this time against Nairobi City Stars, on Saturday.
K’Ogalo have made it a habit of winning by one-goal margins this season, Saturday’s win the eighth time they have won 1-0, while they have scored more than once six occasions.
That has led to concerns among some fans that Gor Mahia are not free-flowing but their coach is not losing sleep over that as long as his team keep winning.

Gor Mahia striker Benson Omala ended a seven-game goal drought as he scored the only goal in K’Ogalo’s slim victory against Nairobi City Stars in Machakos
“Chances are that we are the second highest scorers in the league,” McKinstry, whose side have scored 26 goals, two less than Kenya Police and one behind City Stars and Tusker FC told Azam TV.
“We spread our goals within the team. Other teams score three, four or five in one game but I prefer to score [one] regularly.
“We have played against top teams like Tusker, Posta Rangers and won and today [Saturday], we came up with a victory and that is what you need to win the title.”
