Owing to her performances last season, the European club has decided to keep her for more time.
Harambee Starlets forward Esse Akida has extended her contract with Greek giants PAOK.
The former Thika Queens star will remain part of the PAOK setup for a further year after the renewal of her deal.
"Happy to report that my association with PAOK will continue for another year. I feel happy here and can't wait for what the new season has for us," she revealed in a post on her social media platforms.
The new deal comes after she hinted she could be on her way out of the Greek champions. Reports indicated she had attracted interest from Spain, Ireland, and Germany.
"I am at an age where my dream is to play, so I will not say I want to play in Spain or England, I want to play where I will get resources and get paid well," Akida said during an interview with Betnare TV .
Her contract, which was extended last year, was set to expire this summer and PAOK have decided to keep the Harambee Starlet for another season owing to the key role he played last season.
