Harambee Stars skipper Michael Olunga has given his opinion following a clip that captured goalkeeper Patrick Matasi allegedly being convinced to fix a match.
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has commented on the match-fixing allegations facing goalkeeper Patrick Matasi.
Matasi is a man in the storm after a clip surfaced online where he is filmed engaging in a conversation with a man who seems to be convincing him to fix a match.
The goalkeeper can be seen and heard taking instructions from the man, who promises to pay if he compromises a match, although the said game or when the clip was recorded remains unknown.
That has seen Matasi condemned by football fans and stakeholders in the country and among those disgusted by the video is Olunga.

Reacting to the development, the Harambee Stars skipper used a curse word, posting on X, before going on to explain why he can never engage in such acts.
“One thing about me, my integrity can never be compromised,” the Al Duhail striker further wrote.
Matasi now faces the possibility of suspension with reports claiming Football Kenya Federation is considering sanctioning him as they conduct investigations into the matter.
The goalkeeper has conceded questionable goals for his clubs and Harambee Stars in recent years with the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Cameroon, which Kenya lost 4-1, witnessing some schoolboy errors from the highly experienced custodian.
Olunga was part of the squad that lost the match in Yaounde, when he scored the consolation goal for Engin Firat’s team, but Matasi’s horror show left fans asking many questions.
