Harper, who received his maiden Harambee Stars call-up last October, shone but could not help Exeter avoid another defeat
Harambee Stars left back Vincent Harper picked up where he left off with another impressive individual display against Bristol Rovers, but he could not help prevent a 1-0 defeat on Saturday.
Harper, who started his second consecutive game, was a goal threat from left wingback.
He made two shots on target and was denied a chance to score his first goal for Exeter as he hit the post, and also gave two key passes throughout the game. He was however subbed off after 72 minutes as he continues to regain full sharpness in his body, having not featured for nearly two months until his return in the win over Barnsley last week.

Both Wanjau-Smith and Harper used to play with each other for Cribbs, in the ninth tier of English football, but Harper has since broken into the EFL for Exeter in League One.
Harper aimed a low shot at Jed Ward, but Rovers took the lead as Brandon Aguilera, on loan from Nottingham Forest, smashed the ball into the top corner from 20 yards. Exeter expressed frustration, believing the referee impeded midfielder Reece Cole just before the goal.
Harper later unleashed a spectacular curling effort that hit the post and bar, while goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo made a brilliant save to deny Chris Martin.
In the second half, Jack Aitchison narrowly missed the near post, and Exeter's best chance saw Sonny Cox's poor finish easily saved by Ward.
