Why Kane’s goals finally count
The former Spurs skipper netted his first three goals this season in the 7-0 thrashing of VFL Bochum back in September.

Per a report from Give Me Sport, those goals were not considered a hat-trick due to a bizarre rule in Germany.
Unlike in the English Premier League, where those goals would have counted as a hat-trick, cue Edward Nketiah’s masterclass for Arsenal, in Germany, it is a different ball game.
The standard for a hat-trick is said to be higher in the Bundesliga as you need to score all the goals in one half for it to count.
Kane’s goals against Bochum were netted in the 13th, 54th and 88th minutes unlike his latest which came in the 51st, 69th, and 88th minutes.
A hat-trick, a feat revered by footballers and fans, holds a special place in the hearts of goal scorers. It represents the pinnacle of their artistry and their ability to consistently find the back of the net.
You can see the smile of relief on the face of Kane, who has now scored 12 goals in nine matches in the Bundesliga despite not being a stranger to scoring goals in abundance.
