Lookman became the sixth Nigerian to win the CAF African Player of the Year award following a tremendous season with Atalanta.
The Nigerian international helped himself to back-to-back Player of the Season honours at Atalanta by being nothing short of spectacular.
The winger also led his club side to their first Europa League trophy, scoring a hat trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Donati has praised Lookman's development and said that the winger's strength lies in his self-awareness.
According to Gazzetta as per Football-Italia, he said, “Lookman is an incredible player. The biggest improvement he’s made is to gain awareness of his strengths. Once you realise that, nobody can stop you.”
Lookman’s incredible last season’s performance has earned him a massive recognition in Africa.
The winger has taken his last season form into the new season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists for Atalanta.
His form has also helped his team top the Serie A League table as they aim to win the Scudetto this season.
