England boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that one of the nation's most important players will be fit for EURO 2024.

Gareth Southgate believes Luke Shaw could make England's Euro 2024 squad, even though he hasn't played since February.

Shaw's last game was on February 18, where he picked up an injury against relegated Luton Town.

Southgate admitted last month that the Manchester United defender was "up against it" in his journey to EURO 2024.

"He's progressing very well, I have to say," Southgate told TalkSport.

"I think I said last week that until we had the players in front of us working with us, there was a lot of information that we didn't have.

"We're pleased with how he's progressing. There's still a bit to do before he can get on the pitch in a game situation, but he's in with a good chance."

England will play their first warm-up game against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Newcastle's St James' Park on Monday.
