Fulham manager Marco Silva claims he has complete faith in Super Eagles star and believes he can be the greatest in the world.
Calvin Bassey has been a key player for Fulham since joining the club from Ajax, with his performance being singled out by his manager.
The Super Eagles defender, who joined Fulham from Ajax in the summer of 2023, has fit right in with Silva's lineup and amassed an outstanding 40 games in all competitions.
Fulham finished in a solid 13th place in the Premier League last season, and Bassey was a key player, starting 25 league games.

Bassey’s performance has impressed his manager, who believes the defender will be a top player in the future.
Speaking with BBC Sport after Fulham’s win against Everton, Silva said, "Calvin had an impact last season.
"He has the skills, ability and talent to be a top central defender. I really trust him. I really believe he has the capacity to be a very good central defender. He has everything."
Bassey, who has now made eight appearances for Fulham this season, has kept up his impressive start.
The defender was in action against Everton, including his fellow countryman Alex Iwobi, who was at his best in the game and scored Fulham's goal in the game.
