According to Paul Scholes, a Manchester United legend, Kobbie Mainoo is a far better player than he was when he was young.
Scholes watched his former team defeat Man City 2-1 to win the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
Alejandro Garnacho scored the opening goal following a defensive error between Stefan Ortega and Josko Gvardiol in the first half.
Before halftime, things got even better when Bruno Fernandes' excellent assist allowed Mainoo to finish well and give United a two-goal advantage.

Scholes hails Mainoo
The former England star Scholes is sure that, at the same age, United's Wembley matchwinner Mainoo was better than him.
According to reports from the Sun, he uploaded a photo to his Instagram story showing Mainoo putting the ball past Ortega.
Scholes wrote on the picture, “Read a few comparisons between me and this kid last week… don’t waste your time, he is 10 times the player I was at 19,” wrote Scholes.
“Just love the way he receives the ball, the calmness, the awareness of what’s around him and of course big goals in big games.”
Scholes finished off by saying, “This boy is special… and he’s a f***ing red.”
Mainoo has been a regular starter since the turn of the year following the injury of some key players in the team.
He has also been considered as one of Manchester United’s best players this season despite their poor performance in the league.
